The Broken
Wicker
I didn’t know…
I did not know that a broken wicker hurts he who leans on
it
More than it hurts itself when it gets broken
I always thought it would feel the pain more than I
naturally would
Well, I leaned on a wicker
I leaned on it a little more than I should
The wicker got broken
It got broken and it hurt me more than itself, it did
It got broken and pierced me right through the heart
I come back to you in hope of your healing touch again,
oh Lord
Though I know it is my fault to have trusted a wicker that
on I leaned
More than I should
